On June 13th 2015, The Renaissance Project launched its first competition; The Water Rocket Challenge. Students worked in teams over 8 months to produce rockets powered by water and air capable of reaching an exact distance of 60km. The competition helped them improve their teamwork, problem solving and critical thinking. Click on the link below to see more

Linda Haj Hassan was the first student to be recruited by the renaissance project three years ago. She graduated this year on the honors list, earning a bachelors degree in biomedical engineering. Hear Linda's thoughts on the renaissance project's scholarship and the overall impact the program has had on her development.

Bayt Al Hikmah (translated from arabic into "The House of Wisdom") is a non-for-profit, online academic publishing house that aims to become the biggest knowledge portal in the region serving content to academics, students, corporations, and the general public alike. It aims to increase access to education, promote research, and provide a platform for regional academics.  The content will  cover scientific and social science fields in both Arabic and English produced by the region over the periods 800AD to this very day.
